The longing for their land is one of the main themes of a writer who had the misfortune of always being away from his land since as a child he had to leave Cádiz, moving away from his beloved sea and as an adult he had to leave his country, Spain, due to political discrepancies with the Franco's dictatorial regime, which did not admit communists within our borders.
The social claim It is another of the issues that is repeated throughout his verses and it is precisely because of the situation in the country, the same that led him to emigrate, which produced day in and day out, enormous social injustices that the poet did not know or want to shut up to give voice to the people through his verses.
