Neil Gaiman's Library in Pictures

Neil Gaiman Library 8

Every "addict" to reading dreams of having a huge library full of books at home. Is this true or are we wrong? Do you remember the library that the Beast had from the animated film Beauty and the beast from Disney? I dreamed of being able to have a library like this one day ... Well, the boys and girls of the Shelfari website have had the great honor of being able to see and photograph the Neil Gaiman's library.

The photographs were made by photographer Kyle Cassidy, who had the pleasure of viewing these shelves in the first person. We'll settle for seeing Neil Gaiman's library in pictures, which isn't bad either, right?

What books does Neil Gaiman read?

I have always wondered what is the theme or literary genre that our favorite writers read the most. Will Arturo Pérez Reverte read what is known today as women's literature? Honestly, I can't imagine it. Or, what will be Haruki Murakami's favorite book? What book would you save from burning?

Today, thanks to these images, we can see what books Neil Gaiman, who was PHugo in the year 2012. And where does Gaiman keep so many books? Well in his Minnesota house, specifically in the basement (not very bright, according to the description given from Shelfari). Completely full of bookshelves (science, mythology, history, comics, scripts, gifted books, biographies, etc ...) there is no room for much more.

But let the images speak and judge for yourself. What do you think? Would you or would you not like to have a home library of this size? If you click on each photo thumbnail you can see the larger image. If instead you want to see the original article, click on the Shelfari website that they tell you in great detail.

    What a marvel Carmen!
I would remove the head of a ram? decorating the wall and adding a fireplace to spend evenings reading in the warmth.

    : )

      Hi Miguel,

yes, I would also remove that head (it is nothing to my liking) and I would keep the rest 🙂 A wonderful library!

      Regards!!
