Music that can help you write

Today I bring you one of those articles that I like to write from time to time. It is a personal recommendation in order today to help those readers who follow us and who, in addition to having reading as a hobby, also have that of reading. deed. And I say hobby, because although writing is the profession and work of many, it is always born as a hobby, as a necessity ... Is it possible otherwise?

Following the topic that concerns us today, I am going to mention 'playlists' or artists in particular that I listen to, either when I write an article here or for another blog, or when I write in my notebook or in a project that I have just started. Go for it!

'Playlists' that I follow

Speaking of the famous 'playlists' that we all follow in one or another program, I have to mention three:

  • Playlist 'Peaceful piano' de Spotify: It is one of my favorites and the one that I almost always choose to write. There are currently uploaded a total of 7 hours and 40 minutes of music, all absolutely piano. The piano is the instrument, along with the violin that perhaps most relaxes and inspires me when it comes to writing. In this 'playlist' you can find from the soundtrack of the famous and very good movie "Amélie" from Yann Tiersen, to some others from "Game of Thrones" through other lesser known ones that I love, such as Longevity by Novo Talos or "Traveling" by James Spiteri. Highly recommended!
  • Playlist 'Indie Rock Concentration', also from Spotify: There are currently uploads 50 songs. A total of 5 hours and 2 minutes of music. I usually put this playlist very, very short so that instead of getting off the track with its lyrics it helps me think and write.
  • Playlist 'Café del Mar - End of The Year Mix 2016' available both in Youtube as in Spotify. It is more ambient music than what it pursues more than anything else is the relaxation and concentration.

Artists I listen to

And if the playlists Previous ones do not work for you, you can try any of the following 3 artists or groups:

  • muse: This British band will totally inspire you, for its lyrics and its rhythms. Of course, it is quite peculiar music that you can love or hate, I don't think there is a middle ground.
  • Michael Nyman: Everything this pianist has composed is worth listening to and not only when he is writing. Highly recommended at all hours.
  • Lark Bentley: This Spanish folk pop singer has delicate music, not very commercial and that if you understand it and like it, it can inspire you a lot when it comes to writing. I met her many years ago and since I did, I have not stopped listening to her.

I listen to a lot more music than I have put here obviously but the ones that are here I assure you are the most recurrent in my case to write. I hope you not only like it but it also helps you with the muses and concentration.
