Beginning of his literary career and first recognitions

Lorenzo Silva continued to practice law in an energy company in 1992. During this time he published novels such as November without violets (1995), The inner substance (1996) and in the year you published The Weakness of the Bolshevik (1997) was a finalist for the Nadal Prize.

Virginia Chamorro she is a young sergeant that hides his passion for astronomy. He is 24 years old, and even though his father was a military man, he had little field experience when he started working with Vila. She is a shy woman and throughout the stories she began to become a little more outgoing.

Vila and Chamorro's relationship developed in a good way during the fifteen years that passed in the stories. In 2001 Lorenzo Silva met Noemí Trujillo at the Laie bookstore in Barcelona. At the beginning of their relationship, Lorenzo made a film version of The Weakness of the Bolshevik together with the scriptwriter and director Manuel Martín.

This adaptation received the nomination for best adapted screenplay from the Goya Award in 2004 and María Velarde, who was the protagonist of the film, won the award for best new actress. Four years after receiving these nominations, In 2008, officially, Lorenzo went to live with Naomi.
