The first time they see each other, Carol and Daryl are very attracted to each other. One afternoon in which the protagonists were going to one of their usual days in Daryl's apartment, They find an injured puppy. Together, they take the animal to the vet, and that event brings them a little closer. The writer presents Carol as a lover of canines, and Daryl, as a man with a more tender heart than he appears.

Megan Maxwell, whose legal name is María del Carmen Rodríguez del Álamo Lázaro, was born in 1965, in Nuremberg, Germany.
