Around the world, we can find countless hotels and all kinds of accommodation with different themes: gastronomy, sports, well-being and health, etc., but in Actualidad Literatura, of course, the ones that most attract our attention are those that mix accommodation and books… In this case, lots of books!
The latest discovery we have made is this tokyo hotel (which you can see in the images), called 'Book & Bed'. We believe, by the images and the description of the same that appear in your official website, that what is truly important in the place are the books, more than the beds.
We can find in total some 1.700 books, written in both Japanese and English (the latter for those visitors arriving from outside the country), and between the shelves, a total of 30 beds, having a very light and literary decoration: a curtain to have some privacy, a lamp to enjoy reading in conditions and a plug. Simple, straightforward and very, very literary all over.
It may not be the most complete and comforting hotel in the world, but I do know of many, that right now you read that they would not mind at all, staying in this place for a couple of days or three ...
On the famous page of Booking , where we can find all kinds of accommodation, has a note of 8,7 out of 10 and we see that it has a standard price, although somewhat expensive we believe for everything it offers: 50 euros per night.
Now that you know it, if you plan to go to Japan soon or in the future, because for you it is one of those countries that you want to visit at least once in your life, and you also like literature and love books as much as we do, now you have easier, or at least, something clearer where you can stay. The images invite them, you just have to look at them ... Our eyes make us chiribitas!
Hi carmen.
Thank you very much for sharing this curious article. I had no idea of the existence of this hotel. A priori, I think I would like to be able to stay there.
A literary greeting. From Oviedo.
Thanks to you Alberto!
At least, the least I would do if I stayed in it, would be to sleep (almost certainly ...) 🙂
Regards!
You're welcome.
I'm telling you, normal, heh, heh, heh ... The same would happen to me, I suspect.
A greeting.
Carmen, I was thinking exactly the same thing. If I stay at that hotel, the least I do is sleep!
