Because although today there are two names on the list of the highest paid writers in the world As a woman, it is still an abysmal difference with that of male writers (two against eight) ...

Reading news and different articles regarding today I have discovered a series of facts that I was completely unaware of and that seemed quite illustrative of why today, a Writers' Day is still necessary:
