The Granada-born author Federico Garcia Lorca left an unfinished play when he passed away. Of this he only wrote the first act of the book that a priori called 'Untitled comedy'. We must remember that Federico García Lorca was assassinated in 1936, shortly after the war began. The reasons: being a Republican and gay.
Well, there was a person who, since his adolescence, was turning this unfinished work by Lorca around after lap. His name is Alberto Conejero, and he finally decided to finish this work under the title "The dream of life". The publisher in charge of editing this book will be Cátedra. The presentation was this Monday in the capital, Madrid. It was attended by the president of the Community, Cristina Cifuentes, the Minister of Culture, Jaime de los Santos, and also the niece of the poet, Laura García Lorca.
Who is Alberto Conejero?
Alberto Conejero He was born in Jaén in 1978. He is a writer and poet. Completing Lorca's work has been for him like putting an end to the "obsession" that he had assumed since he was a teenager.
