«Brief history of the world» by Luis Iñigo Fernández
In this book of 320 pages the main events that have occurred throughout history are gathered, without omitting relevant facts, and it is also very easy and enjoyable to read ...
A highly recommended book for those who want to know a little bit about everything (It is like a summary of everything important that has happened to this day). If, on the contrary, you are looking for a somewhat more specific history book, this is not your book, but perhaps the next ones, yes.

"History the world told for skeptics" by Juan Eslava Galán
If you want to know about historical events told and narrated in a funny, ironic and entertaining way, this is your book. The title already anticipates some of what we can find between its lines.
A text without waste in which his usual sarcastic and always provocative style is not lacking, which clears up burning questions such as why Cleopatra was irresistible or why Franco remained in power thanks to Stalin. I'm wanting to read it!

Thank you
It is a good selection.
Hello again, Carmen.
Thanks for your contribution. They all seem very interesting to me, so I will try to go buying and reading them. I am not left with just one, since I love history.
On the other hand, I recommend one that is also by Juan Eslava Galán and that I happened to buy just 15 days ago. It is very good: "The Second World War Told for Skeptics." I am reading it and it is true that it uses a sly, entertaining and fun style. And despite how long it is, it reads very quickly. I love footnotes because it tells very curious things that in some cases I had no idea.
Do you know what the critic says of the books you propose?
A historical-literary greeting from Oviedo.
Impossible not to mention here "Stellar moments of humanity" by the great Stefan Zweig. Thank you very much for the recommendations, I was especially interested in the last one, I'll see how it goes.
