The Solana It is a town in the province of Ciudad Real, in La Mancha more La Mancha, and my homeland girl. So in La Solana we have about how many names of letters of great trajectory and prestige. We cultivate our fields and also the poetry, youth and children's literature, theater and novel. I have just joined this select group and, as I am very happy, from here I want to make a small tribute and the window of my town to the literary world.

Santiago Romero of Avila

Poet, his prestigious career for many years they have long ago made it one of the maximum literary references solaneros. But his fame covers all of Spain. Winner of innumerable awards, he is already on his fifth book entitled That trembling of joy and innocence. Is a compilation of his poetic production developed over more than forty years. Includes award-winning works along with some already published in previous books. But most are unpublished. One more achievement to that endless list and recognition.

Luis Diaz-Cacho Campillo

Co-founding member of the literary group Pan de Trigo of La Solana since its creation in 1989, is the current alderman of the locality. But the political vicissitudes and responsibilities of his position leave him time for a highly recognized literary career.

It is also member of the Castilla La Mancha Writers Association. He has published many books both alone and with more poets and solar authors such as Nemesio De Lara Guerrero and Luis Romero de Ávila. Luis Romero of Avila

This year his children Gloria and Luis Miguel they published Tales and tales of love and always, a compendium of the many articles published by his father during 72 years of his life in La Solana.

Carmen Hergueta

This young writer She is a veteran already in literature. With great enthusiasm and desire, he has already published two parts of one trilogy that has conquered the readers of the fantasy genre, and also a book of stories. And he has many pending projects. The trilogy is titled The magic of two worlds and, pending completion, in 2015 its first part was published, Glass eyes, and last year was the second, Dark dream. Y Strolling through... is cComposed of a short novel, a long story and several short stories on many topics that interest the author.

Antonio García-Catalan

Another solanero author who has recently presented a book. It is also member of Pan de Trigo, and his writing has always focused on the theater production of any kind: actors, puppets, objects, monologues, storytellers or radio plays. Has published a comedy, Five hours with Amancio, with an obvious nod to Delibes's work and that the author defines it as "a mismatch of the original text."

Francisco Hergueta

Francisco Hergueta, Lifelong upholsterer and avid reader and fan of the fantasy genre, he decided to write his own stories and is now exponent of the best historical, fantasy and adventure novel. That hobby and tastes has led him to create one of those characters that usually hook lovers of the genre, the pirate Ernesto Sacromonte.
