Awarded at the 2014 Barcelona Manga Fair.

The Barcelona Manga Fair grants awards to recognize the best manga and anime works published in Spain between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014. The voting mechanism for the awards is open to everyone at through the FICOMIC website. The voting period took place between September 22 and October 15. These awards do not have an economic endowment.

The winners of the prizes of the XX Salón del Manga de Barcelona, ​​which this year have been delivered at the Palace 2 of Fira Montjuïc, are the following:

Best Shonen Manga: Attack on Titan (Editorial Standard)
The human race, once ruler of the world, faces extinction at the hands of the Titans, gigantic monsters of limited intelligence who hunt and devour people for fun. Best Active Manga Author: Takeshi Obata
This manga artist and character designer won the 1985 Tezuka Award with the story 500 Kounen no shinwa, which allowed him to dedicate himself professionally to the world of manga. Best Fanzine of or about Manga: Cloak Sword by Dejà Blue Circle
The winning fanzine of this year's edition is the work of the Déjà Blue collective, a circle of artists, screenwriters and collaborators whose purpose is to publish homoerotic-themed fancomics. His projects, of all kinds, are always self-published and non-profit.
