The Moment: Magneto takes the adamantium out of Wolverine

This Moment happened during the crossover Fatal Attractions, more specifically in X-Men # 25. When the Patrol x goes to Avalon to fight Magneto, it ends up taking the adamantium out of Logan through the pores of your skin. Of course, this was more of a hit-and-run than logic, because if Magneto had the ability to do that, why didn't he do it sooner?

The fact is that this fact, began one of the worst stages in the life of the Canadian mutant, and quite unfortunate numbers, why not say it, where as a result of losing the adamantium, we see how Logan's regression to beast man varies depending on the creative team that catches it by band.

Here below I put the vignette in which Magneto snatches Wolverine the adamantium, courtesy of andy kubert y Matt Ryan.

I do not understand, pork if the adamantium stuck to Logan's bones, Logan had to have been boneless since the adamantium and his bones are united

According to Wolverine's story, after the battle with Magneto in which he managed to remove the entire adamantium skeleton, it was shown that this metal acted as a poison for Logan, so his regenerative capacity and other abilities increased to astronomical levels. (since they were concentrated in fighting against the "poison"), becoming practically an Omega-class mutant, due to his near indestructibility and regeneration, no longer fast, but immediate, both of his mind and his body.

this uli666 is absolutely right but he lacked something that became almost immortal! only dying if they tear off his head and if they see the X-Men movie origins: Wolverine k is very good ade + aki I leave you a small fraction of Logan's story taken from wikipedia: James Howlett, alias Logan and better known as Wolverine, is a Marvel Comics superhero, member of the X-Men, Alpha Flight, and The Avengers. Its name in English refers to the wolverine, a carnivorous mammal that lives in North America and North Asia, and is famous for its strength and ferocity
In the XNUMXth century, he was born in Alberta, Canada, the second son of Elizabeth Hudson and John Howlett (the first, named John, has been presumed dead, although it is later revealed that he is alive), whom they named James Howlett. The child was born sick and weak. His mother was abstracted and distant after the death of her first child under unknown circumstances. As a child James was always a sick child and also suffered from asthma, so he was always under the care of a young woman named Rose Hopkins, hired by the Howletts to take care of him and keep him happy. Together, Rose and James were playing with another boy nicknamed "Dog", son of the cruel Thomas Logan, guardian of the grounds of the Howlett Mansion.

let's put aside the wiki…. Excuse the intrusion, but I want to know if Logan really had those bone claws that appear in the original movie, because I do not remember that in the comics he had such power, and if so, after magneto extracted the adamantium from his bones , those bony claws should remain, right? In the comics, after this event that gives him greater regeneration and agility, does he have the claws?

In ultimate wolverine vs hulk, he is split in 2 by the hulk and he is still alive ... then when they are fighting they throw a bomb at them and only his head remains, therefore even without a head he can survive.
The film is not faithful to its "true" origin, although it does make several references. Bone claws have always had them.

BUT REMEMBER THAT IN THE ORIGINS FILM IT WAS NOT THAT THEY DIED WITH TAKING THEIR HEADS OFF… WHAT HAPPENED WAS THAT THEY THOUGHT THAT THE ONLY WAY THE TWO BROTHERS DIED (WOLVERINE AND SABRETHOOT) WAS CUTTING THEIR HEADS; WHICH ENDS UP PROVING THAT IT IS NOT TRUE SINCE THE FINAL PART OF THE FILM AFTER THE CREDITS SEEMS DEADPOOL OR ARMA XI WITHOUT THE HEAD AND STILL ALIVE ...

In fact, the power of wolverine is not regeneration but the ability to survive ...

  8.   Keiber did you mention said

you have to see the bad and the good…. The bad thing is that Logan will no longer have his metal and the good thing that he does not die he is one of the oldest cartoons in history

They only remove the claws not the entire skeleton

Because they only remove their claws, the whole body is still adamantium

Well quick summary Logan when they tear off the adamantium it mutates to an omega class, that is when the gene x has no flaws the adamantium for logan is poison and when magneto takes it away I remind you that magneto can handle how I want to shape the metal if it can put even in a liquid state if you want that's why I don't tear his bones like a memerto without imagination said and logan is immortal in omega class he can regenerate his body from just one cell of him. bye and read a little

Hello, of those who comment that Logan becomes an omega-class mutant, could you tell me the name of the comic where that story appears? thanks in advance 🙂

I believe that wolverine could regenerate limbs in hours, whereas X-23 could also regenerate limbs in days.
