Silent books. A selection of titles

silent books

The silent books They are illustrated books without words, except the title, editorial information and perhaps some within the illustrations. They tell a story through images and allow you to connect with anyone else even if you don't speak the same language. Are ideal for those who do not yet know how to read or have different levels of reading or intellectual knowledge. The best thing is that age is not an important factor in seeing or understanding them either.

Their main advantage is that they expand the possibilities of interpretation of a story at the same time that they propose to their users that they themselves construct it in their own way or give it their own meaning. That stimulates creative, observation and concentration skills, especially in the little ones. We take a look at a selection of 8 titles that may be of interest.

This is a book made up of autostereograms, better known as stereograms, or optical illusions that allow you to distinguish a scene in 3 dimensions from an image. They do not need any device to see it, such as glasses, but it is a matter of patience and concentration. Stereograms are often used as orthopedic rehabilitation exercises.
