Ramón Gómez de la Serna was born on July 3, 1888 en Madrid and was the creator of a unique literary genre, the gregueria. It was cultivated by other authors, but theirs are an unequaled reference to that unique combination of humor plus metaphor in one sentence. Gómez de la Serna was a prolific writer and journalist which is included in the generation of 1914 also called Noucentisme. His literary work was very extensive.
