Ramon Maria del Valle-Inclan was a Galician author born in the Pontevedra town of Vilanova de Arousa in 1866, who studied law in the city of Santiago de Compostela, to which he always remained closely linked.
However, after finishing his degree, he settled in Madrid and collaborated with "El Globo". Later he went to America and worked as a journalist and brought out his first stories to later return to Spain to live in Pontevedra, until years later he returned to the capital of Spain and befriended some of the leading figures in literature. national of the moment whom he met in the social gatherings, in which the Galician stood out for his extravagance.
Having been back to Mexico He returned to Spain again and directly opposed the dictatorship of Primo de Rivera.
