family constellations

Mark Wolynn focuses on the traumas inherited from families or the people they raise to explain mental and even physical illnesses and ailments.. Many people develop diseases such as vision loss, diabetes and other serious ailments that can be disabling. It also talks about depression, anxiety, phobias and other types of chronic disorders that can be similarly disabling. Wolynn has tried through family constellations to seek answers to the traumas of the people who came before us.

His pseudoscientific research would try to gain a foothold in the chemical disorders that would unbalance patients and that would arise from these traumas.. That is why, to create better arguments, scientific support for hormones has been sought and it has even been said that genetic problems, in addition to being inherited, would not remain unchanged, but that there would be negative experiences capable of transforming genetic sequences generation after generation if the trauma is not resolved.

But, more specifically, What are family constellations? They are considered a pseudotherapy that requires delving into the personal and family past to discover a trauma that generates discomfort in the patient.. The cause is in that family past and not in the person themselves. This method would explore the depths of direct or indirect family relationships. Sometimes the trauma can come from unknown family members because it has continued to be transmitted by being ignored or marginalized. Wolynn therefore believes that the inherited cause of ailments that derive from trauma can be treated from family constellations. Furthermore, this way a cure could be found beyond medication, or resignation could be avoided.

The nuclear language method

Trauma comes from something contained: an experience, a behavior that has been transmitted and that lies unconsciously. Repressing trauma only causes the spread of discomfort to other people and the acquisition of new ailments.. Wolynn affirms after his experience with his method and from dealing with many patients that it is possible to end certain patterns thanks to the discernment of trauma, forgiveness and reconciliation with our ancestors.

In the book he points out several exercises based on what he calls the "nuclear language approach" or core language approach. Language would be a key tool to delve into the trauma and get closer to the root and the people who transmitted it, very close people, family members, fathers and mothers, who are the ones who raise their children. The procedure would consist of focusing on one or more family members from whom the pain is believed to emanate and in an exercise of visualization and dialogue trying to reach a cure. This is also located thanks to the acceptance, understanding and analysis of the sensations and thoughts that these people generate in us. The objective is to identify the trauma to approach it, work on it and solve it..

Finally, Wolynn also refers to "The Four Unconscious Themes" that are close to the behavior of the people who raised us or to the experiences lived from the moment of pregnancy and during childhood. These are behaviors of dependency, rejection, family estrangement, or trauma inherited from a family member.
