The application was created by CNSE Foundation with the financial support of Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. It was a project framed within a policy of action to promote and encourage reading, with special emphasis on deaf children. It has also become the first digital reader for deaf people.
Objective
The objective is promote the reading habit and literary creation among deaf children and youth through Spanish sign language. It also wants to facilitate the work of families and professionals in this area.
Operation
The application works in a similar way to a digital book reader, but it also incorporates a specific section for create and personalize stories and stories own. In addition, they can to illustrate with images, which can be archived for playback as many times as you like. Thus, not only reading is promoted, but also the literary creation between childhood and youth with hearing impairment. And those stories can be shared with any user who also has the application installed.

Application allows incorporating into the library stories that are already published in Spanish, Castilian sign language and with subtitles. The story is included with the first download Platero and Me. From here, this library can grow with new editions created by the CNSE Foundation or by the users themselves. Other actions
Finally there are other actions in the application for, for example, the translation into Spanish sign language of children's stories and plays as La Celestina, The Lazarillo de Tormes, the poems of Miguel Hernández or Blood Wedding. It also allows preparation of campaigns, web pages and guides aimed at families, educational centers and libraries. All with the aim of introducing this group to readers' circles so that they can share and participate in common experiences.
