A few solidarity books

They are ideal dates to give away charity books. Today I present these. They are of several unknown authors, but committed and very supportive. TRAVEL ON PAPER

Travel on paper (2013) is a charity book whose funds go entirely to the fight childhood leukemia through the Aladina Foundation. Promoted by the Brotherhood For Life (Gijón), it was the result of the collaboration of fourteen writers and fourteen illustrators under the name of Escribiendo e Ilustrando Por La Vida.

Oriented to an audience child and youth, the fourteen stories deal with varied themes with a predominance of adventure and fantasy. Their titles are: It was a summer night, Madrigal Chronicle, The Song of the Forgotten Hero, The Blackbird, The Mystery of the Missing Treasure, Elías Negro, Kaled's Journey, Julia's Secret Adventure, The House in the Cemetery, The Adventures of Penelope Blue , Fishing for razors, Parhelio y Knickers.

THE DEVIL'S HORN

It was already beginning to dawn when I could see the boat in which they had gone. They had succeeded. The three of them went up on deck. Instantly the voices of pirates were heard who, with the first light of dawn, had discovered us.

Also from 2013, it is written by Jesús Rodríguez, Asturian author, which has another solidarity title and is also a promoter of the previous one. MEMORIES OF THE FUTURE

Memories of the future  (2015). From Illustration, a project that brought together 12 writers and 12 illustrators with one goal: to raise funds for SIMA, the Marfan Syndrome Association.

The proposal: write a illustrated novel. The gender of science fiction and it was worked in pairs of writer / illustrator for each chapter. Thus, each chapter is linked to the next by a different author and another illustrator. The result: a complex and fascinating futuristic story, with 18 illustrations, which will delight all lovers of the genre.

SYNOPSIS: Year 2041. The world has become a place dominated by technology and is organized into cities called hivesand an strange syndrome begins to erase the memories of more and more individuals. Political power is held by the Corporation, an institution that has equipped buildings to study and treat this disease. But nothing and nobody is what it seems. What do all those affected by the syndrome have in common? What is the Nemesis Project? And the main question:the earth is in danger?

30 SMILES WITH HISTORY

Solidarity book emerged from the photographer idea Rafael Plaza Aragonese to make a photographic and literary exhibition. He proposed it to the Smiles Association, who did not hesitate to collaborate. Many more solidarity associations have participated, such as Messengers of Peace. The foreword to the book is from Father Angel. State security bodies and forces have also joined, such as the Civil Guard and Police.

Conclusion 30 photos of children with various rare diseases. They inspire as many short stories and micro stories de Spanish and Latin American writers.
