2013 Eisner Awards Winners

Eisner

The Eisner Awards, or Will Eisner Comic Book Industry Awards, is the highest honor in the comic industry for creative achievement in the field in the United States. His name is a tribute to author Will Eisner, who was a regular participant in the ceremony until his death in 2005.

Nominations in each category are proposed by a group of five members and then voted on by comics professionals. The winners are revealed during the International Comics Convention in San Diego, California, the most important in the sector in the United States, where the awards ceremony takes place. The Eisner Awards are often regarded as the equivalent of the Oscars of the comics industry.

This year there are four proper names for these awards, meeting with the great work of David Aja for the Eye of the Hawk, the great Juanjo Guarnido for Blacksad and the indispensable Brandon Graham for the reissue of King City and Brian Vaughan for the magnificent script of Saga,
