Gli Eisner Awards, o Will Eisner Comic Book Industry Awards, sono il riconoscimento più importante nell'industria dei fumetti per i risultati creativi sul campo negli Stati Uniti. Il suo nome è a omaggio all'autore Will Eisner, che ha partecipato regolarmente alla cerimonia fino alla sua morte nel 2005.
Le candidature in ogni categoria vengono proposte da un gruppo di cinque membri e poi votate dai professionisti del fumetto. I vincitori vengono svelati durante la International Comics Convention di San Diego, California, la più importante del settore negli Stati Uniti, dove si svolge la cerimonia di premiazione. Gli Eisner Awards sono spesso considerati l'equivalente di gli Oscar dell'industria del fumetto.
Quest'anno sono quattro i nomi propri per questi premi, incontro con il grande lavoro di David Aja per Eye of the Hawk, il grande Juanjo Guarnido per Blacksad e l'indispensabile Brandon Graham per la ristampa di King City e Brian Vaughan per la magnifica sceneggiatura di Saga,
