  • According to the literary genre, you will have: lyrical, epic, dramatic. Some authors broaden this classification much more according to the history of the books: detective, romantic, contemporary, historical, etc.
  • Long-read books: where novels and stories are framed because they are narratives with a beginning and an end that assume that the reader is going to spend some time reading it from beginning to end.
  • For consultation, Also known as consultation, where we can include dictionaries, encyclopedias, manuals, information books, etc. On the other hand, there would be entertainment books, since their objective is not to give knowledge, but to make you have a good time reading.
  • Pocket books, characterized by their small size and short length. In contrast, you would have hardcover books and normal-size books.
  • According to the use that is given, you will have textbooks (for study), complementary (for support or research on a certain topic), reference (they are characterized by being quick reference), recreational (where we include stories, comics, comics, etc.), scientific , instructive (user manuals), literary and linguistic books (novels themselves), technical (experts in a specific subject), informative, popular, religious, illustrated, electronic, poetic, biographical, didactic, self-help, artistic, Audio.
