He was born on December 22, 1980 in Santiago de Compostela but, despite being born in Galicia, the truth is that most of his childhood was not spent there, but rather in the Canary Islands. In 2019 he received the Krámpack Award from the Extremadura International LGBT Festival.

He himself defines his way of writing as "simple", apart from the fact that in order to achieve this text that reaches people to internally raise doubts and conflicts, he has needed good training to do so. He is also one of the writers who mixes writing with politics, considering that writing is "a political artifact."

In addition to his work as a writer, he is also a columnist. In fact, he collaborates for the magazine BodyMente, for the digital newspaper La gaze common and even has time to participate in the LaSexta website.

In 2013, when he decided to dedicate himself to writing, Roy Galán created a Facebook website. It was her job to finish a Community Manager course and she started writing on it.
