Programming of the V Salita de Cómic 2014

One more year the people of ExTreBO has organized for the end of this month and the beginning of October the Comic Room en Caceres. With the presence of Carlos Pacheco As one of the main attractions, here I leave you with the complete program for the lucky ones who by proximity or chance, can attend this event that is consolidated edition after edition:

From Monday, September 22 to October 14:

Inauguration of exhibitions at the V Salita del Cómic (exTreBeO):

- Versiones de Nessa (2nd Edition) (More than 25 authors play the heroic fantasy heroine, created by Ángel Gcía. Nieto (TiTo) and Vanessa Deleiva). Ruta de la Plata Shopping Center. (Sept. 22 - Oct. 5).

- Illustrations by Carlos Pacheco.- Selection of works by the most international author of our country - Municipal Museum of the Cáceres City Council. (from October 1 to 14).

- The Time Machine.- (More than 25 Extremadura authors cover the classic by HG Wells in a collective Webcomic) - “Rodríguez Moñino” Public Library in Cáceres. (from October 1 to 14).

- Batman versions. Extremadura authors and guests, make illustrations about The Bat Man. Cañadaul café-bar. (from October 2 to 22).

- Illustrations from Plasencia. Exhibition of "Authors Placentinos" with originals by Esteban Navarro, Jairo Jiménez, Cruz, José Mª Perianes, Jesús Cano, Ángel Gª Nieto (TiTo), Luis M. Pelaz (Luisin), ... Museum "Palacio de la Isla". (from October 1 to 14).

- Originals from the “Giant Live Comic 2013: Reflections”. 25 Extremadura authors draw on a script by Pablo Calvo. Ruta de la Plata Shopping Center. (from September 22 to October 5).

- Originals by Jesús Bravo, in "Dados Outside", (from October 1 to 14).

- Pinupcomix: Exhibition brought from Belgium of illustrations of "PinUp" girls, by more than 24 international authors of great prestige, in the Municipal Museum of the Cáceres City Council. (from October 1 to 14), more info at www.pinupcomix.com.

Thursday September 25:
Press presentation of the V Salita del Cómic- Municipal Museum of the Cáceres City Council (11:00 h.).

Illustration Contest on cartoon and comic characters, for children and adults, with awards ceremony at the Salita del Cómic, consisting of a generous batch of comics. The bases will be published on the web www.extrebeo.com.

Friday October 3:

- Lecture "Comic: Communication and Culture - From the Idea to the Public" for young people from the IES "Al-Káceres": Taught by, Ramón García-Ontiveros and Silvia Pérez Simón. Clavellinas Room - 12 h.
- Illustrated Storytelling: Traditional stories represented by two actors (Fernando Montero and Irene Medina) and illustrated live by two cartoonists (Jesús Bravo and Cándido Hoyas). Clavellinas Room - 19pm.

- Opening party of the 5th Salita del Cómic y la Enlightenment. Cosplay Contest, sale of comics and merchandising from exTreBeO, exhibition of Batman illustrations, by Extremadura authors on the occasion of its 75th Anniversary. A free comic and a free glass will be given to anyone who comes in costume. Café-bar "Cañadul" - 22 h.

Saturday 4 of October:

- Live Role Play: “Find the Superhero”. in the old town of Cáceres, with the collaboration of the ALMA Association. From 10am to 14pm.

-Meeting of Notebooks. Prestigious illustrators, drawing live through the old town of Cáceres. Exhibition of the works in the Plaza Mayor at 14pm. Organized by Fermín Solís. From 10am to 14pm.

- Children's costume party-contest. Children must come dressed as comic characters, especially those costumes made by parents and children. There will be gifts for all costumed attendees. Ruta de la Plata Shopping Center - 17:30 p.m. Simultaneous activities:

· Caricatures live and direct from the hand of the cartoonist GAB.

· Zombie makeup workshop (run by the Red de AA. De VV. And the Zombie March of Cáceres).

-Encounter with authors and personalities from the world of comics- (Carlos Pacheco -Author- and Julián Clemente -Editor-). Clavellinas Room - 18:30 h. Award ceremony "Las Alas de Thor", to personalities from the 2014 comic.

- Presentation of publications and news from Extremadura on comics and illustration this year, such as the Fanzine HARTO! NUMBER 5. Clavellinas Room - 20pm.

- Market of Fanzines, art and nightly desktop publishing, with the collaboration of Dados Fuera, at the “El Discovery” Shopping Center - 22pm.

Sunday October 5:

- Giant live comic. 20 Extremadura authors and guests will each make a large vignette before the public, forming a complete story together (Script by Carlos Correia and vignette by Marce Parra). Event of special spectacularity. (Includes information stand and sale of fanzines). Paseo de Cánovas - 11 a.m. to 14 p.m.)

- Traditional second-hand comic book market, simultaneously with the Giant Comic. Sale of publications of the exTreBeO Association (Fanzine Harto! 1-5, and “El Diablo en la Botella”).
