It's been about a year since I read Dracula de Bram Stoker. I love vampire stories, and since then I have liked them even more. The truth is that there is a part of the story that becomes a bit heavy, but you also have to bear in mind that it is an epistolary novel written in 1897. In any case, when you get past those pages and begin to understand how important information gathered, the novel begins to grow in excitement, intrigue, and action.
And I must not be the only one who finds this story exciting, because a new edition illustrated by Ferdinand Vincent, and it is not the first time that someone takes care of illustrating this work. Next I will tell you more about this new edition.
Cordelia Kingdom is the publishing house that has launched this new illustrated version of Dracula, which includes the translation made by Juan Antonio Molina Foix in 1993 and a foreword by the writer Luis Alberto de Cuenca.
All the Artwork they are full of sensuality and reflect the sexual tension reflected in many passages in the book, and also perfectly reflect the gloomy that wraps up the whole story.
The edition I read at the time had no illustrations, except for a depiction of Dracula in his younger version on the cover. And, honestly, I would love to read the novel again in this illustrated version, if it were an old movie remake.
This new edition of Stocker's Dracula has 544 pages and is priced at 29,80 euros.
