III Poetry Contest Val de San Vicente Town Hall

  • Gender: Poetry
  • Prize:  € 200 and set of books
  • Open to: Everyone can participate
  • Organizing entity: Val de San Vicente City Council

Base

  • A single work of free theme and metric.
  • Maximum size of the work: 2 A4 single-sided in Arial 12 font with 1,5 spacing
  • The works must be original and unpublished.
  • The author must attach two documents to the email where the participating work is sent, one containing the work signed with a pseudonym and the other containing the personal data related to said pseudonym (plica)
  • The jury will not know the name of the author.
  • The awards ceremony will be face-to-face, in such a way that participants will have to attend it to be eligible for the awards.
  • The awards ceremony will take place at the Bajo Deva Auditorium, located in Unquera, Val de San Vicente, on December 26, 2015 at 19.00:XNUMX p.m.
  • The works will be sent to the mail poetry@aytovaldesanvicente.es between November 5 and December 3, 2015.
  • The three award-winning authors will be presented with lots of books. The first prize will also receive a 200 euro cash prize.

IV Contest of short stories Lozoyuela

  • Gender: Story
  • Prize: € 150 and diploma
  • Open to:  From 9 years
  • Organizing entity: Lozoyuela City Council

Base

  • Anyone can participate of any nationality and country of residence, with a single work.
  • The works will be free themed. Creativity, originality and literary quality will be valued.
  • They are established three categories o modalities of participation:
    A) Infant: between 9 and 12 years old.
    B) Juvenile: between 13 and 17 years old.
    C) Adults: over 18 years old.
  • The works must be presented typed and its maximum extension will be 2 pages in length on one side., with single line spacing and font size 12 points.
  • The stories presented must be unpublished and original. Stories made by people other than the author or not owned by the author will not be accepted.
  • The stories will be presented in an envelope with a title and a pseudonym. Inside the envelope, in addition to the story, a closed envelope with the same title and pseudonym will be included, inside which the author's data (name and surname, address, telephone number and photocopy of ID or Passport) will be included.
  • This documentation will be presented at the City Council of Lozoyuela: Pza. De la Constitución, 1, 28752 Lozoyuela (Madrid). OR by email to animation@lozoyuela.com
  • The deadline for submission of works ends on Thursday, December 3, 2013, at 15:00 p.m.
  • The prizes will be the following:
    A) Infant: First prize consisting of a book and a diploma.
    B) Juvenile: First prize consisting of a book and a diploma.
    C) Adults: First prize of € 150 and diploma.
    Second prize: € 100 and diploma.
  • By participating in the contest, the authors consent to the publication of their works on the Lozoyuela City Council website, as well as in the Municipal Library Bulletin or in any other municipal publication.
  • The jury will be made up of the Councilor for Culture, the Head of Culture of the City Council and between one and three people related to the literary world of the region.
  • On Friday, December 4, the winning stories will be published on the City Council website www.lozoyuela.com at the same time that they will be contacted by telephone and on Saturday, December 5 at 18:30 p.m. The awards ceremony will take place with reading of the winning stories by the awarded authors.
  • Participation in this contest implies full acceptance of these rules and the decisions of the jury.

V ACEN Romantic Short Story Contest

  • Gender: Story
  • Prize: Anthology publication
  • Open to: residents in Spain

Base

  • Theme: Romantic, all those stories that refer to violence of any kind, have sexual or offensive content of any kind and denigrate the image of the person will be discarded.
  • Participants: any person residing in Spain whoever wishes can participate. Registration is free.
  • Format: The works will have a maximum extension of 5 lines, in Word, A4, vertical, and with a margin of 3cm on both sides (Word's default option), written in Spanish, in Arial font size 12. It will be accepted 1 micro-story per participant.
  • Form of presentation: Email, in attached file. An email should be sent with the following subject: "V Contest of romantic short stories" to the address: contests@acencs.org
  • In the message will be attached:
    Single file: The name of this file will be the title of the micro-story. The content of this file will be:
    - Title of the micro-story
    - Story
    - Name and surname of the author
    - Date of birth
    - Address (Including population)
    - Telephone
    - Email
    - DNI
  • Any work that has been awarded in another contest or contest will be excluded.
  • Deadline for submission: papers must be sent before December 4, 2015 at 14:00 p.m. to email: contests@acencs.org
  • Awards: the selected micro-stories will be published in a book. The winning story will receive 10 copies of the book, plus an honorable mention from ACEN. The book will be presented in Castellón and later distributed. The profits will be used for charitable purposes in favor of the promotion of new writers.

IV Crystal Pen short story contest

  • Gender:  Story
  • Prize:  € 200 and publication in anthology
  • Open to:  everyone can participate

Base

  • The contest is valid from Tuesday, November 3, 2015 until 23:59 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015. Always following the Spanish peninsular time.
  •  Anyone who wishes can participate as long as they accept these requirements:

- The nationality of the participants does not matter.
- The age of the participants does not matter.
- The story must be presented in Spanish.
- The story must be original by the author and unpublished.
- It may not have been published in any type of format (including the internet), either totally or partially.
- They cannot be stories submitted to other contests or to editorials.
- A maximum of one story can be submitted per participant

  • The participant will guarantee to Pluma de Cristal, through a declaration, that its text is unpublished and original and that meets these bases.
  • La Thematic of the story will be "terror"  and length of the text should be between 2000 and 2500 words.
  • The authors have to send the stories by email to the address: contests@plumadecristal.es together with your personal data (name, surname, address and identity document number).
  • Among all the originals received until Sunday, December 6, 2015, a single winner will be chosen and twenty copies of his story will be printed and sent free of charge to the address designated by the author.
  • At the end of 2015, Pluma de Cristal will choose the best story among all the winners of all the 2015 contests. There will be a prize of € 200 for the winner to be awarded in the first quarter of 2016. The story of the annual winner together with the stories of the winners of all the short story contests of the year 2015 will form a book that will be published with our publishing label. Setting the copyright for each copy sold at 10% of the RRP (without VAT) that will be divided equally among all the authors. XXIII Short Novel Contest "José Luis Castillo-Puche"

Base

  • As many writers as they wish, of any nationality, with the exception of those who have obtained a prize in previous editions, may participate. The work presented must be original, unpublished and not awarded in other competitions. It must be written in Spanish language.
  • The topic will be free.
  • La extension of works it will not exceed one hundred pages, nor will it be less than fifty in DIN A4 format.
  • The works will be presented double-spaced, single-sided, in 12-point letter size, with a maximum of 30 lines per page, in triplicate, suitably stitched or stapled.
  • The works will be presented in a sealed envelope, signed with a pseudonym or motto, accompanied by escrow in a sealed envelope. This will contain the personal data of the author, accompanied by a curriculum.
    Shipments will be made by ordinary mail and not in electronic format. Those participants who wish to acknowledge receipt must use the postal method "Certificate with acknowledgment of receipt".

  • The Jury's decision, which will be final, will be made public on January 18, 2016 through the usual channels, as well as on the website www.iescastillopuche.net.
  • The winning novel may be published, within the Hécula collection, by the "José Luis Castillo-Puche" Secondary Education Institute, which will reserve the rights for this edition.
  • The winner of the award undertakes that, in possible future editions of the novel outside of this collection, it will appear in the same ones that have been awarded in this Contest.
