I have recently read at least two articles related to something called the IDF 2016. He did not know this denomination to be received at the International Book Fair in Guadalajara and he also did not know the importance of this event at the Ibero-American level.

Knowing the Guadalajara International Book Fair 2016
This fair was founded 30 years ago by the University of Guadalajara, and today it is a fair for professionals where the reading public is welcome, which distinguishes it from the rest of the main fairs that take place in the world. Without neglecting its vocation as a business meeting, FIL was conceived as a cultural festival in which literature is the backbone, with a program in which authors from all continents and different languages participate, as well as a space for academic discussion of the great issues that cross our present day.
Su duration is 9 days, time in which the attending public listens to their preferred authors; the book industry makes Guadalajara its heart, and the city is filled with music, art, cinema and theater from the country or region invited of honor. This year it is Latin America.
Date and place
Currently, the dates are predisposed as follows:
- Hours for the general public: November 26 and 27, December 1, 2, 3 and 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 21:00 p.m.; November 28, 29 and 30, from 17:00 p.m. to 21:00 p.m.
- Hours for professionals in the sector: November 28, 29 and 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 17:00 p.m.
Location: The Fair will take place at the Exhibition Center «Expo Guadalajara »: Av. Mariano Otero, 1499 Col. Verde Valle Guadalajara, Jalisco.
