Confucius. Books and phrases to remember his birth

Confucius, the most universal Chinese philosopher and thinker, was born the September 28, 551 BC C., or that is the date that has been traditionally taken. So today I remember it with a selection creative writing about him and some of his phrases.

Confucius

This thinker and philosopher Oriental was the son of a ruined noble family and devoted much of his life to the study and teaching of moral precepts. These ideas and teachings were collected by his disciples several years after his death and ended up constituting what is known today as Confucianism, a general concept whose bases were on tolerance, respect, altruism and ethics.

These are some books about his figure and a selection of phrases and thoughts.

Books

Analects - Confucius

A compilation of briefs sentences, small dialogues and anecdotes made by two generations of disciples over about 75 years after his death. It is considered the only sample where we can find ourselves at Confused more vital and real.

Leadership according to Confucius - John Adair

John Adair is international consultant on leadership issues. For this book he borrows from Confucian philosophy a series of universal principles that give the keys to developing characteristics and skills that a good leader must have. That leadership, applying those Confucian strategies, must be able to motivate and inspire employees.

The four books - Confucius

They are the four books, which Confucius did not write personally, but which constitute the base and beginning from his school, which is also known as the "School of Lawyers". They show Confucianism as the social dimension of man, whose morality is defined by the must, posición and function, either in the family or within the State.

They are texts that demonstrate that Chinese history and culture can no longer be understood without the doctrines of Confucius.

The real Confucius - Annping Chin

In form of biography and history book on the most classical China, this title was presented as a reference to fill a gap in the bibliography that can be found in Spain, since there are few that deal with the life and work of Confucius and Chinese history from its earliest times.
