Carme Chaparro Martínez was born in Salamanca, Spain, on February 5, 1973. From the age of eight she settled in Barcelona (her father was born there and worked as a medical visitor). Professional career in television, press and radio
When Chaparro got his bachelor's degree in 1996, he was already collaborator in the writing of Citizens, Generation X y You sew them as they are (TV3 programs). Private life
Carme Chaparro has had a romantic relationship since 1999 with cameraman Bernabé Domínguez, whom she met in 1997 when he covered Lady Di's funeral for Telecinco. Shortly after beginning their love affair, he was captured —along with war correspondent Jon Sistiaga— by Serbian troops on the border between Macedonia and Kosovo. They were released after five days.
Today, Domínguez works for Mediaset in coverage of sporting events. Although he and Chaparro have not married, they have remained together and have two daughters: Laia (2011) and Emma (2013). In recent times, Chaparro stated that he suffers from Ménière's Disease, an incurable condition that affects the skin and causes episodes of vertigo.
