Synopsis

After a quiet time in the town of Cantabria, the body of a woman was found in the rubble of an old construction. The corpse was meticulously placed in the place, he wore an outfit of medieval royalty, and, in addition, he had a rare object in his hands. The result of the autopsy surprised both the police force and the residents of the region.

After this event, a wave of murders is unleashed in the area, which turns on the alarms again. Synopsis

Valentina is looking forward to the end of the summer to go on vacation with Oliver. But everything turns upside down when receiving the call for a new case: the gardener of the Palace of the Master appeared dead. This property had been unoccupied for a while, however, the writer Carlos Green, who had inherited the premises, had recently moved.

At first, it was presumed that the man's death had been due to natural causes, but the investigation showed that someone had touched the corpse. The theory gains strength when Valentina interviews Green and he confesses that he has been disturbed at night by mysterious entities.

Although the lieutenant is skeptical about the paranormal, she, Oliver, and her team are caught up in inexplicable events.. This motivates them to face the investigation under other paradigms, which brings out incredible discoveries about the palace and the people immersed in the events.

What the tide hides (2021)

It is the most recent novel by the author and the last installment in the series The books of Hidden port. It is an independent thriller in which Lieutenant Valentina Redondo and her colleagues from the police investigation force continue to be the protagonists. In November 2021, in Spain, the work received the distinction of best fiction book of the year by the booksellers of “El Corte Inglés”.

Synopsis

María Oruña is a Galician lawyer and writer who was born in Vigo in 1976. For ten years she practiced law in the labor and commercial areas.
