THE XI INTERNATIONAL COMIC DAYS OF ALMERÍA ARRIVE

With the organization of the Andalusian Cultural Association Colectivo De Tebeos, the new edition of the already established International Comics Conference has arrived.

Combining the new trends of the comic, with the traditional and historical, and the innovative and experimental is one of the objectives. Another is to offer formulas for the diffusion of the comic as reading, to interested scholars, amateurs and teachers.

Refresh the trajectory of legendary authors, such as Escandell and Martín Saurí. Knowing the latest of a value from the 80s comic: Joaquín López Cruces, and discovering new values ​​such as Dani Cruz or the Argentine Maxi and Ed, through Bang Ediciones, will be key points of reference and attraction.

A great effort has been made promoting, and presenting various audiovisual projects, hand in hand with Moviola Films: the informative series ´Know the comic`, and the fantasy animation series, ´Los Días del Kraülio`.

Getting to Almería is easy, and on the 7th and 8th of November - with a prologue on the night of Thursday 6th, it will be very pleasing to the fans, to those who were, to those who are, and to those who will be.

The live meeting with the protagonists of the cartoon, with the editions of yesteryear, and those of now; with the studies and research on the cartoon ... With the new creators awarded in the II National Contest of the Creation of Comics, and the faithful friends of each year ... It will be an added pleasure. One more reason to come with us.

18, 30- Round table: ´The new bets for looking for readers for the comic, the example of Bang Ediciones`. They intervene. Sephàne Corbinais (editor of Bang Ediciones), Maximiliano Luchini, Maxi (Illustrator and Artistic Director of the Mamut Line of Bang Ediciones), Edgardo Carosia, Ed (author and illustrator), Dani Cruz (author and freelance illustrator, collaborator of Bang Ediciones with his series Puck the gnome). 17, 30- Talk-colloquium with Joaquín López Cruces, an author from Almería of great projection. Presentation of his work "Along the way I entertain myself". Travel notebook` (Edited by De Ponent). Presented and coordinated by Miguel Ángel Blanco Martín, journalist and historian.
18, 30- Presentation of the new Paper Worlds # 00- II Epoch, by its Director, and team of collaborators.
19, 30- Meeting with Ed (Edgardo Carosia) and Maxi (Maximiliano Chianelli), Argentine cartoonists, animating and coordinating Stephàne Corbinais and Dani Cruz.
20,30- Judgment of the II Contest for the Creation of Comics ´Jornadas del Cómic de Almería`. Awards ceremony for the winners in attendance.
21:00 - Meeting with José María Martín Saurí. The original trajectory of an author. Coordinated and intervened by: Antonio J. Morata and Diego Cara. Previous presentation of the author with audiovisual.
22- Delivery of the IV Thunders of Honor. Signature of the authors present. Authors' signature and closing of the XI Conference.

PROFESSIONAL AREA

During the morning and early afternoon of Saturday, November 8, the French editor based in Barcelona Stephen Corbinais, along with Dani Cruz, Maxi and Ed from Bang Ediciones, along with Antonio J. Morata (Elmo), Artistic Director and Pilar Quiroa -Cheyrouze and Muñoz Literary Director of Ediciones De Tebeos will be in charge of attending to those interested in showing their works for their consideration, with a view to being advised on the different technical aspects of them.
