Stephen King's "Hearts in Atlantis" was originally published in Spanish in 2000 by Plaza & Janés publishing house, one year after being published in English. Although we also have another pocket edition dating from 2004, published by the Debolsilo publishing house.
However "Hearts in Atlantis" is not a book that tells a unique story from the first to the last page but rather It is composed of two novels and three short stories. The directors of the adaptation have decided to focus on the title story to make the film, a tale that follows a group of college kids who experience their first time away from home in 1966.
The director will be Johannes Roberts, a great admirer
The manager in charge of overseeing the adaptation is the British director Johannes Roberts who will have Ernest Riera to write the script. The two have previously worked together on a horror movie called "The Other Side of the Door."
Director Johannes Roberts commented on his love for Stephen King books and how adapting one of his stories is a dream come true for him.

There was an adaptation of "Hearts in Atlantis"
