Neruda did not die of cancer

Neruda, Chilean poet and Nobel Prize for Literature, did not die of cancer as indicated by his own death certificate. The forensic experts who have been investigating this controversial case, have determined this past week in Santiago de Chile that the causes of the death of the poet could have been other as they have indicated in a document delivered to Judge Mario Carroza, in which they expose all their conclusions. This is who today is at the forefront of the investigation on the death of the poet, who died during the dictatorship of Augusto Pinochet.

As indicated by the Spanish professor Aurelio Luna, who is part of this research: «Studies related to the body mass index by using the diameter of your belt allows us to exclude 100% the existence of cachexia«. Luna explained that the cause of the writer's death was not «cachexia«, (Profound alteration of the organism characterized by malnutrition, organic deterioration and great physical weakness), as indicated in the report.

But this is not only what has been discovered in such research but an element has also been detected that could be a laboratory grown bacteria. This last finding is being investigated and studied and the results will be known in a period of between six months and a year. "With the results we have now we can neither exclude nor affirm the nature, natural or violent, of Pablo Neruda's death", added Professor Aurelio Luna.

As you surely already know who has followed the life and work of the Chilean author, Pablo Neruda at that time, was part of the Central Committee of the Communist Party and he died only two weeks after the coup that defeated the socialist president Salvador Allende. On the other hand, there is the version given by the poet's driver, Manuel Araya, who has always assured that Neruda was murdered with a deadly injection ordered by regime agents.
