And a surname as illustrious and legendary as that of Stoker tells us about the origins of his most immortal creature through his great-grand-nephew and JD Barker.
Red queen - Juan Gómez-Jurado
Gómez-Jurado is one of the most widely read national thriller authors. Some of us still have the aftertaste of Scar on the lips and now comes this new novel next November 8th.

As well 8 day goes on sale the second of this historical romantic saga by the German Anne Jacobs, another recent publishing success. It started with The village of fabrics, one of my readings this summer.
We follow in Augsburg, but we are in full World War I in 1916. The Melzer mansion has been converted into a military hospital (quite evident nod to the television series Downton Abbey, which this saga undoubtedly honors). The daughters of the family are working as nurses which the service also helps.
Marie, the former maid and now wife of Paul Melzer, the eldest son, sand in charge of the fabric factory while her husband is missing. Then you get the terrible news that his brother-in-law has fallen in the fight and Paul has been taken prisoner. He overcomes these circumstances and will fight to preserve the family heritage. So she doesn't give up hope of seeing Paul again and doesn't stop working at the factory. But then a new character comes along, Ernst von Klipstein, which will be fixed on Marie.
This saga will end with the third part titled The legacy of the village of fabrics.
